For me, the most basic defenition would be a comedian that delivers their mateiral with a southern accent. Or, if that doesn't quite rub you the right way, one with a southern accent who spends a fair amount of their act addressing the concerns of southern audiences.
And I'll agree that "southern" is much preferrable to "country", since there are plenty of parts of the south that can't specifically be called "the country". I'm from Memphis....nothin' country about it, but it is distinctly southern.

I haven't run into the "Git R Done" crowd too many times in California, but, yeah, I'm sure it is quite infectious in my beloved South. Just do what you'd do with any other stock, annoying heckler line, develop a really clever comeback. Or buy a rifle....they're plentily availiable down there.

I live in San Diego. I get Get R Done alot. Espacially whan I am a dive bar and someone finds out I'm a comic. It's either Get-R-Done or tell me a joke. I don't know which one is worse.
